Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to all business processes in Frøystad AS, hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller.
The policy provides information about data processing carried out by the Data Controller and determines the purpose and means of the processing, as well as data processing we do on behalf of our customers based on their instructions.
The processing of personal data is necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations and serve you as a customer. Personal data may also be used for the following purposes: sales, customer service contact, marketing, information, and accounting.
For marketing via email/SMS, explicit consent is obtained beforehand.
By providing us with your personal information, you accept the practices and terms described in this privacy policy.
If you have objections to our privacy practices, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Information Collected
Information may be registered and stored when you sign up at https://froystad.no/create_account, when you contact sales or support via email, chat, or when you use our services.
Where we store your information and with whom we share it
Our e-commerce platform is provided by Mystore.no AS, and data is stored in their cloud services at Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) data center in Ireland.
Subcontractors
The Data Controller also uses services provided by third parties. Here is an overview of subcontractors where information may be stored:

Vipps: If you pay with Vipps in the online store (or our physical store), your phone number will be sent to Vipps for further identification.

Klarna: If you pay with Klarna in the online store, personal information such as email, name, address, and personal identification number will be shared with Klarna for credit assessment. Read more about Klarna here.

Gsuite by Google: Gsuite by Google is used, among other things, for handling email and documents (Google Drive). Information is stored in these systems, and email correspondence or documents may be stored by Gsuite by Google.

Zendesk: Zendesk is our system for managing email and chat correspondence. All incoming and outgoing emails and chat dialogues are stored by Zendesk.

Mailmojo: Mailmojo is used for email marketing or sending newsletters. Name and email may be shared with Mailmojo.

Google Analytics: Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses and visitor patterns are stored.

Microsoft Business Central: Our accounting system, and data necessary for bookkeeping is stored here, such as name, address, orders, and invoices.

Mystore Datakasse: We use Mystore Datakasse as a cash register solution in our physical store. Information related to your order is stored in Mystore Datakasse.

Adyen: If you pay with Visa or Mastercard in our physical store, personal information such as card number will be sent to Adyen for payment processing. Read more about Adyen here.

Logistra: Logistra is our EDI solution provider. When you shop in our online store, information such as name, phone number, and address is shared with Logistra for printing shipping labels and transport tags.

Postnord: We ship packages with Postnord and thus share shipping information such as name, phone number, and address.

Bring: We ship packages with Bring and thus share shipping information such as name, phone number, and address.

Nor Lines: We ship packages with Nor Lines and thus share shipping information such as name, phone number, and address.
Communication via Email and SMS
As a registered recipient of our newsletter, you may receive email and SMS related to your customer relationship. For example, we will send you email/SMS related to orders you have placed, SMS with tracking numbers, forgotten passwords, information about your customer account, etc. This is defined as legitimate interest, and consent will not be requested.
We also use email for marketing and communication. As a customer of the Data Controller, you will periodically receive newsletters as long as you have actively consented to it. It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletters by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails.
Access and Correction
You have the right to access the information registered about you. Access can also be obtained by sending an inquiry to post@froystad.no. If the registered information is incorrect or incomplete, you can request that the information be corrected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
If you wish to delete your customer account, you can request this by sending an email to post@froystad.no.
Retention and Deletion
Information that is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for will be deleted from our systems.
Information about the use of cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer.
We use cookies, among other things, to remember your login, password in encrypted form, to improve user experience, and as part of our marketing efforts for new customers.
When you visit our services, we set both temporary and persistent cookies. A temporary cookie is often automatically deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies can stay on your computer for up to a year.
